Promoting informed and civil discourse about politics and democracy.
Come on in. All are welcome.
It’s way past time for Americans to start talking productively again.
At Kitchen Table Talk, we aim to promote civil discourse and lower the temperature in those heated exchanges we’ve been having across the country for too many years. We can show you proven ways to converse without controversy.

Our mission is to inform and educate, promote civil discourse, and to get people talking to each other again, civilly and with respect.
Core Beliefs
We believe in trust, truth, civil discourse, and in the majesty of the United States of America.
At KitchenTableTalk, we promote civil discourse and individual change. This in turn improves communities, and eventually our country. We advocate for and promote civics education, learning how to recognize bias and unreliability in what we hear, and help citizens learn about how to enjoy and practice their civic rights.
We cherish our democracy and wish to help move the United States out of its current disagreeableness.
Become the Change We Want to See
Think you’ll never be able to talk politics again, or speak to that uncle, co-worker, or friend, with whom you disagree?
You’re not alone. But you can and you will.
Unfriending, distancing, arguing, or cancelling all dissenters is not the answer! Here’s how to start changing the pattern. Civil discourse is possible.
Kitchen Table Talk aims to begin the healing process for our country, and the return to civil discourse. It’s imperative to remember that we’re all Americans, with a shared history and values.
